Sinewave joined by clients at EV World Congress and EVIES

Sinewave partnered the EV World Congress and EVIES Awards in 2021 to support our continued involvement in the EV sector, and share some of the knowledge we have gained from the process. We were joined by guests from BP, EO, Applegreen and more at the events.

Sinewave's partnership with the EV World Congress attracted attention from the BBC who interviewed Adam and Ashley live on air on the main stage before the opening of the event.

The EV World Congress is convened annually and is a two day platform of thought leadership and knowledge sharing including representatives from central and local UK governments, International cities, major stakeholders and suppliers to the sector. Car, van and bus OEM's also attended the event.

The event, and our relationship to it attracted coverage from the mainstream press with the BBC attending day one and starting their coverage with a live interview on stage with our Founder and CEO Adam Woodley and Commercial Director Ashley Hutchinson. The BBC were interested in both the future shape of the electric vehicle market, and Sinewave's involvement in it to such a scale after 'only' 5 years. The interview was broadcast live on the breakfast show with supplementary content aired later in the day.

Keynote Speaker

Adam was keynote speaker for day one giving the morning presentation on how ICP's and IDNO's can collaborate to aid the mass rollout of electric charging infrastructure around the UK using a 'cookie cutter' approach to design and layout offering CPO's both CAPEX and OPEX savings. Sinewave have been adopting this approach with partner IDNO's for over year now accelerating rollouts adding value to our clients in more than 'just delivery.' Adam was on the same stage as the deputy mayors of London and Bristol (representing EV / low carbon transport) and other organisations such as Bristol Airport and presentations from Cities of Helsinki, Madrid and more.

EVIES Awards

For the first time Sinewave attended the EVIES held just over a mile away from the EV World Congress itself. The past 18 months have been tough for the UK and World as a whole but Sinewave's team has not only remained operational but also grown significantly and evolved our offer, improving our delivery and customer proposition throughout COVID. We saw this awards ceremony as a chance to thanks as many of our team as was possible, as well as some of our clients, both old and new. We were delighted to be joined by EO, BP, ESP, Box Energi and Applegreen and see many of our other customers from the EV world at the event.

At the event Sinewave received "High Commended" as Contractor of the Year which was a very pleasant surprise to the team on the evening.
