Apprentice achieves SAP Status

Harry Buttler, Project Engineer at Sinewave Energy Solutions has recently been awarded his status as a senior authorised person (SAP) through their trainee engineer scheme. Harry was the first to join the business back in July 2016 on our ‘Trainee Engineer Scheme’. As part of his training and development Harry under took a HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Reading College, as well as along spending time on block release with various sectors within the business to gain an appreciation and understanding of each engineering discipline.
Greg Millett-Clay, Head of Technical and Design says “ Harry has demonstrated great competence and responsibility in attaining SAP status. It’s fantastic to see him reaching such an important milestone in his development”.
Sinewave currently has Harry engaged within the networks part of the business working within the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams allowing him to gain further experience running outages and issuing permit to works as an Senior Authorised Person for intrusive maintenance activities.
