Sinewave are an award winning ICP at the 2022 EVIEs and EV World Congress

It’s that time of the year again. After a successful and enjoyable event in 2021, Sinewave partnered and attended the 2022 EV World Congress and the EVIEs.

With the EV sector exploding, the industry landscape for business is both exciting and challenging. The congress saw around 120 world leading organisations, city councils and technology providers speak at the event, sharing insight, advice and posing thought provoking questions.

After the attendance of Sinewave at last years’ congress attracted national press coverage from the BBC, both Adam Woodley (CEO) and Ashley Hutchinson (Commercial Director) were invited back to share their thoughts on the EV World Congress Stage.

Ashley spoke alongside Jess Thompson-Hughes (Ericsson), Cecilia Routledge (Ctek) and Vikki Robins (Oxford City Council) on a panel discussing how organisations can work together to provide the growing charging infrastructure required for the growth of the EV market.

Many questions were posed from an industrial and commercial perspective but perhaps the most popular subjects of discussion were those from a consumer stand point, with panellists drawing on their own experiences of driving electric vehicles.

Following the panel, Adam took to the stage exploring the subject title ‘Charging Infrastructure, planning from concept to delivery’.

The EVIEs

A chance for friends and colleagues to catch up and to celebrate those paving the way in the EV sector - this years Electric Vehicle Innovation & Excellence Awards (EVIEs) was a night to remember. 

Sinewave were finalists in the ‘Contractor of the Year (C&I & Public) category, an accolade the team were particularly proud of receiving given the standard of competitions of this year’s entry.

To celebrate and to recognise the combined hard work and partnerships, Sinewave invited along 20 customers and staff to enjoy the event, and to the guest’s delight Sinewave were awarded the 2022 ‘Contractor of the Year (C&I & Public).

All at Sinewave would like to take the opportunity to say thanks to those that have supported the business over the years. And to the team, the award is a testament to the dedication and hard work.

The evening was a brilliant way to recognise the successes everyone has had, a big congratulations to all of those who were nominated and to those who won.
