Sinewave take home Sustainable Business of the Year Award.

This years Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards was set to be one of the most competitive yet. Known for its prestigious programme celebrating innovation, success and resilience in British business, it attracts organisations from a variety of backgrounds.
With seventeen categories to enter, Sinewave were shortlisted for two of these; the ‘Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year Award’ and the ‘Lloyds Bank Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award’.
Over 160 finalists had been chosen across these categories representing the best of British Business, with a Dragons Den style pitch taking place for the judging. The finalists were all invited to come together to celebrate each other’s achievements at London’s esteemed Grosvenor House Hotel to find out who had won.
Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year Award
With people and planet being at the heart of everything Sinewave does, the team were hopeful of being within a chance to win Sustainable Business of the Year award, but this year’s competition was incredibly tough.
Sinewave were up against the likes of Allium Helmsley Ltd T/A Allium Energy, Cotswold Fayre Ltd, Hawksmoor, Midstream Lighting, Victory Hill Capital Advisors LLP, Barratt Developments PLC, Green Retreats, Juice Global Ltd, and WJ Group
With bated breath, the guests had the pleasure of listening to Sir Trevor McDonald talk before he announced that Sinewave had in fact won the Sustainable Business of the Year award. A huge accolade for the Sinewave team in recognition of the work towards net carbon zero targets and dedication towards corporate social responsibility.
‘Lloyds Bank Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award’
The second award that Sinewave were shortlisted for was SME business of the year, with all finalists needing to demonstrate consistent growth, strong financial performance, engaged workforce and effective leadership. Again, incredible competition in this category with Curious Universe pipping Sinewave to the post and taking the award, Sinewave were highly commended in this category.

With one award and one highly commended title out of the 2 shortlisted categories Sinewave were up for, the team at Sinewave are thrilled and humbled.
