#TeamSinewave set off on ride for charity

Two members of TeamSinewave are completing a motorcycle challenge for Starlight charity. Greg MIllett-Clay and Chris Stallwood are riding unsupported from John O'Groats to Lands End on their Honda Mini Cycles. With the average speed speed of these bikes about 40 mph and their maximum carrying weight about 15KG (plus themselves) this represents a real challenge for their endurance and stamina and their ability to pack light! They have both been training for this event for several weeks while working out what is absolutely required to take. Water and spare fuel alone will take up over 1/3 of the additional weight they can carry.

Greg and Chris's bikes will average 40mph over the 900 miles

Greg and Chris are carrying this out for a wonderful children's charity Starlight which aims to improve the lives of ill children through the power of play. Greg is personally thankful to this charity which has supported his family as he outlines on his Just Giving page which you can see here.

In 2019/20 Starlight reached 1.5m children in the UK. Sinewave are behind this venture and the charity, please support us by giving Greg and Chris your support and should you wish too donate follow the link above.

More information on Starlight and the great work they do for children can be found here and to follow their journey on Facebook see here.
