Old Manor Hospital
Old Manor Hospital Development
Sinewave supported the Affordable Housing and Healthcare Group by installing three substations to power 500 new residential properties – apartments and housing schemes – in the south west of England. More housing units are planned over the next year.
Sinewave worked at the Old Manor Hospital Site for several years, installing three substations and associated LV cabling to provide power to multiple apartment blocks, plus housing and car-charging points. Sinewave performed all ICP works alongside EAN and SSE, including multiple HV points of connection along a busy trunk road. The work took place at night against tight deadlines.
The Technicals
Three 11kV HV brick-built substations
More than 5000 meters of internal cabling for services and riser installation works
150 meters of HV cable installation
Multiple HV points of connection
Commissioning all substations and HDCOs
Installing earthing arrangements and SPL within substations

Benefit
This project will result in a large increase in assisted living accommodations in the Salisbury area. Sinewave has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with AHH. We were delighted to play a role in making new residential facilities available for our senior citizens.
