Rapid chargers for Motor Fuel Group

Rapid Chargers for Motor Fuel Group (MFG)

Largest independent forecourt operator in the UK with more than 900 stations.

In the next decade, MFG plans to invest circa £400 million in Ultra-Rapid 150kW and 350kW EV Chargers across its UK network.

Summary

  • Seven rapid charges were installed at EV hub in Newington

  • Ten additional projects have since been completed

Solution

Sinewave was delighted to start working closely with Motor Fuel Group in 2020 by supporting the energisation and launch of their EV hub at Newington by installing seven rapid chargers. The rapid chargers, protecting canopies and a welcoming look all add to the first-class feel of the site.

Benefit

Newington is the first of many for Sinewave and MFG. Ten projects are in various phases of completion as part of MFG’s investment in charging infrastructure on their forecourts.

One of the most recent additions to Motor FuelGroups portfolio of forecourts with EV Chargersis our site at ‘Whirlwind.’

Sinewave was an integral part of the delivery team to bring“power” to the site.

Communication during planning sessions and construction on-site was key to ensuring that we could meet our timelines and minimise any disruption.

As we accelerate the rollout of EV Chargers across our portfolio, we look forward to our continued engagement with Sinewave as a key partner within the delivery team.
